Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Shelby, a student in our Comp Lit course, has exciting news to share. One of her goats
had kids on Sunday! As in real, live, baby goat kids!
Please take a moment to admire their cuteness (you can click on the images to enlarge).
The boy, with the
brown/black ears, is named Hercules and the girl, with the white ears, is Meg.
Welcome to the world, Hercules and Meg!
Thanks for sharing, Shelby!
Those babies are so adorable! I think the ears make them cute! I wish I could pet them over the Internet! I bet they are soft and make the cutest little noises! OOOOHHHHHH!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat breed of goats, Shelby?
They are mostly Nubian and oberhasli and they also have a little Nigerian Dwarf. The mom is named Ellie and the dad is named Prince! We still have three more goats to go before all the babies are on the ground.
DeleteThat means, if all of them have twins, you will have 8 babies. Our sheep, Sunrise, had a little lamb on Wednesday. It was a total surprise. It is a ram and he is ADORABLE!!!
DeleteCute Baby goats !
ReplyDeleteAwww,They look adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world!
awww they are so cute, I remember when we had a goat that had cute babies too, they are really cute when they are small
ReplyDeleteWelcome Hercules & Meg
Aw, they are so so cute! Congrats. :)
ReplyDeleteDo you also have milk-goats?
ReplyDeleteIn a couple of weeks we will start milking the goats, and keeping the milk for us. Right now, the babies are getting all the milk. Baby update: Ellie, Annie, and Jamie have had their babies. Each had one boy and one girl! Jammie had hers just two hours ago! We still have one more goat to go, and she is the biggest! I think she is going to have triplets!
Deletethat is so cool,I am (hopefully) getting milk goats for my birthday. (wish me luck breaking that birthday wish to my dad, Mr. Anti-livestock)
